Dr. Boss along with Dr. Susan Eckert have written 'Academic Scientists at Work: Navigating the biomedical research career.' ASAW leads the reader from finding an academic position to working their way up the academic ladder to promotion with tenure. Topics include finding a job, obtaining research funds, management of your lab group, research scholarship and writing, teaching, and academic service. Graduate Programs at Emory
Emory University offers a number of top-notch graduate programs. Students interested in working towards their PhD with Dr. Boss should apply to the Genetics and Molecular Biology (GMB) or the Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis (IMP) graduate programs. All students must apply to the Graduate Division of Biological and Biomedical Sciences (GDBBS), which serves as our graduate administrative structure.
